The Evil Dead worlds... COLLIDE!

Hello Deadnoids,

"Following quite a few warnings about the graphic content featured in the footage, Fede Alvarez's Evil Dead took to the WonderCon stage with Alvarez, producer and original franchise star Bruce Campbell and cast members Lou Taylor Pucci, Shiloh Fernandez, Jessica Lucas and Jane Levy.

The panel began with a new trailer created exclusively for WonderCon. Very similar to the recent Red Band version, this one offered some alternate shots and the tagline, "Once you unleash evil, it will consume you. Fear what you will become."

"You can tell an 'Evil Dead' fan is a real 'Evil Dead' fan because they won't f--ing shut up about it," joked Campbell about meeting Alvarez for the first time.

Alvarez stressed that his vision for the reboot required that the effects be completely practical. To that end, Levy recalled that her biggest challenge during production was getting literally buried alive.

"Don't be such a baby!" Campbell shot back, laughing.

Assuming the film does well at the box office, Alvarez says that he's got big plans for the franchise. He'd like to make a sequel to this one while Sam Raimi moves forward with Army of Darkness 2. Then, both worlds would combine for a final, seventh film.
"I think seven is a nice number," Campbell grinned. The panel wrapped up with a special video message from Sam Raimi introducing a sequence from the April 5 release. In it, Lucas' Olivia begins her possession in the cabin. Pucci's Eric comes in to check on her in the bathroom and sees her sitting, cutting into her own tongue in the bathtub. He jumps back and slips on her severed cheek, falling backwards. She leaps at him, stabbing him with a shard of something and then, over and over, with a hypodermic needle that actually goes directly into his eyeball. She slams him against the toilet and it shatters, but he's able to beat her back with a broken piece of porcelain. Eric is left on the floor, realizing that the end of the needle is still in his eye and he slowly pulls it out as the entire WonderCon audience winces."

More and more and more food for my scenario. I'm on the right path.
HAPPY EASTER!

No Sumeria for Ash (LOL)

Hello Bat-Winged Crazies,

We just surpassed the 6000 visits mark in... uh, what? 10 days. Okay. That's very flattering, but my mission is to make my theories known, it's not about personal fame. LMAO.

By the way, I got rid of the concept wanting a second Ash duplicate coming into existence in the ancient Sumeria. Some fellow Evil Dead fans made me notice "the" Ash depicted on the missing pages of the Necronomicon Ex Mortes had the Kandar Castle right behind him, drawn in the background. This automatically ruled out my original theory.
I didn't notice the castle because... well, I'm an idiot.

At this point, we just have TWO Ashes operating in the medieval times as showed on screen twice, no other imaginary Ash kicking ass in the ancient Sumeria.

Take care of yourself, stay away from abandoned cabins.

The Kandarian Demon - a comprehensive guide

Hello Wiseman Johns,

I've just written the best guide to the Kandarian Demon and the Deadites. 'Nuff said.
If someone spots some error or I've been forgetful, drop me a line.

I love you. In the sunlight.

Thank you

Hello Deadites,

Thank you so much for the overwhelming response this blog is getting everywhere... we just scored almost 4.000 visits in two days or so. This seems to me a BOOMSTICK result. I was caught unprepared, quite frankly. Just remember, this is my thing, these are my theories, there's nothing to criticize, just have fun.

By the way, I'm writing this post to announce people I've revised all blog contents, adding more elements here and there and fleshing out some concepts. So please check the pages again.

I'm also writing new sections, one dedicated to the Kandarian Demon. More specifically, I'm waiting to see EVIL DEAD 2013 to write its obvious "connection" with the classic saga. Yep.

An introduction to this GROOVY blog

Primitive Screwheads, listen carefully:

1- I'm a fan like you. A fan like you, having some fun. Don't mess with my zen thing. Okay?
2- These are my theories. I know ED2 features a quick 7 minutes recap of The Evil Dead and was meant to be a direct sequel with some heavily retconning. Okay. I know. I know. I know. Please, don't repeat it. I already know. I'm just finding a funny way to make things work in a different way, because people (casual people and not Evil Dead fans) are still confused about the furniture of the cabin in ED2 (lol) and millions of some other details not matching.
3- I absolutely love the ending of ED2. I love AoD too. This is my humble attempt to say: "Everything I watch on screen is canon". Pity on me.
4- Unfortunately, I'm Italian. Sorry if my English sucks a bit. This is not my main language.
5- Yes, I have a lot of time in my hands.
6- Bruce Campbell... if you're reading this... you ruined my life forever. Thanks!

More contents to come. Bookmark this blog. It is meant to stay. I'm an Evil Dead fan since the first movie scared the shit out of me. When I was a little kid, I rewatched Evil Dead II 840 times or so, spreading the good word in my school. And I was only 16 years old (and no friends whatsoever) in my local theatre watching Army of Darkness. Good ol' times.
